Case Manager II (LSW)

1 POSITION OPEN 4/12/2017

LOCATION:  Male Facility 123 15th St N Fargo, ND 58102

Full-Time: Monday-Friday; generally day shifts with at least one late night per week. Day hours can vary based on client schedules. Non-Exempt Status, 40 hours per week. Starting wage for this position is $16.50/hour.

Duties include: Work with offenders in transition from institutional settings back into the community. Serve as positive, pro-social role model to assist clients in establishing employment and accessing other needed resources. Maintain documentation, records and reports. Oversee accountability. Attend weekly case management meetings, maintain on-going communication with referral sources, crisis response, and group facilitation.

Requirements: This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Social or Behavioral Science program from an accredited college or university and a Social Work License or Master’s Degree in Counseling with two years of experience. The position requires the ability to work well with offenders in a rehabilitative program, conduct formal assessments, develop treatment plans and monitor client’s progress towards their goals. The position requires networking with other service providers and referral agencies and computer knowledge. This position also requires the ability be a team player, possess strong oral and written communication skills, and have the ability to understand and work within the agency mission and various regulatory guidelines.

LOCATION:  Male Facility 123 15th St N Fargo, ND 58102 AND Female Facility 3501 Westrac Dr Fargo, ND 58103

  • 1 FT opening working overnight shifts (11pm-7am) Sunday – Thursday, includes occasional weekends. (Male Facility)
  • 2 FT working evening shifts (1pm-11pm), includes every other weekend. (Male Facility)
  • 1 FT working evening shifts (1pm-11pm), includes every other weekend. (Female Facility)

Wage: Starting wage is $11.75/hr. Overnight shift differential is an extra $1/hr. Additional Health and Welfare Benefits apply (see benefits).

Duties include: Direct client contact in a residential setting. Be part of a team that supports individuals receiving treatment for chemical dependency and/or mental illness. Maintain client accountability as well as a safe, orderly environment. Be part of a team dedicated to excellence and good morale.

This is an entry level position that requires an interest in human services, good communication skills and the ability to handle details. Individuals with experience or education in social work, sociology or criminal justice are encouraged to apply.

Part-time and Full-Time Residential Specialists;  Shifts will vary, some day (7:30 am – 3:30 pm) and evening (3:30 pm – 11:30 pm) shifts with occasional day and weekend overnight (11:30 pm – 7:30 am) shifts. Must be flexible and willing to work some holidays. $11.75/hr.

Duties include: Direct client contact in a residential setting. Be part of a team that supports individuals receiving treatment for chemical dependency and/or mental illness. Maintain client accountability as well as a safe, orderly environment. Be part of a team dedicated to excellence and good morale.
